Using RSO instead of Remote Replication

We would like to know what the best solution would be for protecting / backing up data on a remote site.

We have 2 Sites, the remote site’s got a 1GB WAN connection to the main site which after hours are mostly available for backups across WAN. They have 2 Arkeia Servers installed, so each site have an Arkeia Server.

Main Site with local Arkeia Server having both Diskstorage and Tape Drive backups. The remote site does not have a Tape Drive for archiving, just local Diskstorage.

All backups will be done locally on each server to Disk Storage.

So the question is, on the Remote site do we backup the data to diskstorage using source side deduplication, then replicate the data to the main site’s server using Cloud Replication and then also backup to Tape?

Or

Do we simply allow the Remote site to use a RSO license with Source Side Deduplication and backup data to Diskstorage or even the Tape drive on the Main site’s Arkeia Server?..
