Using 15v Adapter with myCloud Home (4tb) gen 2

Hello,

My original AC adapter was shredded, and I have to buy a new one, went to wd website, not available.
So, I bought a generic ac from Radio Shack, with multiple volt selections.

I set it on 12v as recommended my wd website, but my device started to keep restarting every hour I think, in next weeks.

now I set it on 15v, will that be a problem ? it produces 1.5 amp on both 12v and 15v.

There may be some performance issues on the device performance due to its input. It’s recommended to use original power adapter with My Cloud Home to overcome from these.

It’s suggest to use 18 Watt Adapter with My Cloud Home 4TB device including following specifications:
12 Volts
1.5 Amps
18 Watts
