User's manual? Drive letter? Beginner's question

Hi,
I bought a WD My Book Live Duo second hand. After a reset to factory defaults it began to work to my relief under Windows 10.
Q1.: There were many manuals at WD’s web-pages. Which is the correct one for this NAS?.
Q2.: Can I assign a Windows drive-letter to some share on the NAS? Thereafter I could do automated backups using xcopy e.g.
