Is it possible to add an Internet Service like Deutche-Welle (dw-world.de) to your choices w/ WDTV media player. I find that service contains on-demand techie programming. If not could WD add that ability to the firmware, where you can use that “keyboard”, please?

No it is not and I doubt very much that anything like this would be added. You would have to use a program on your PC and stream to the WDTV.
