OK thank you for your advices. And isit risky or can be disturbing for their network ? I didn’t work to make troubles on their network.

Not it is not riskier than enabling remote access through FTP.

On my previous post, I added that you need to forward the external router port 3389 to the 3389 port of the computer to enable remote access. I just tried to access my desktop from my iPad and it works nicely.

Hello,

I followed the installation so as to use syncbackpro with a remote access.

For the moment, i have just defined a fixed ip on my parents network thanks to NOIP service.

Questions :

  1. How can i test that i can have a remote access to this network thanks to its new fixed ip ? Is it possible with filezilla ?

  2. I think that i should add some parameters linked to noip service in my WD my cloud ? How can i parameter my WD my cloud in order to take into account the noip service ?
