Hello…I set my drive up to go into sleep mode after 45 minutes of non use. Will this still happen even though it is not connected to a computer? I have it plugged into my wireless router to use as a media server drive

External/Portable drives were tested for computer environments instead of network environments, so I can’t guarantee that the settings will work while the drive is connected to a router.
Just make sure that the settings work on the computer prior to trying it on the router.
