USB ports power off?

Switching off the power does not switch of the USB ports, external hard disk drive is still running. Is there a way to also shut down power at the USB ports?

Hold power button for more than 3 secs on remote and it will turn off usb

Make darn sure you EJECT your drives before you do that…
