Have a Live Hub, latest firmware, created structure on Win7 (shared folders w/3 shares) & used WDGEN to create XML/folder files and the app browses displays as expected.
When attempting to browse by Genre, I only see UNKNOWN.
Looking at the XML files One or Multple entries are listed. (strange that WDGEN creates multple Genre’s yet support has indicated in other threads it won’t be supported)
What’s the trick to filtering by Genre?
… you can’t.
The Hub doesn’t IMPORT the XML… It only DISPLAYS it.
The new Live SMP *DOES* import it, but not on NAS … Yet.
I would suspect that the Hub will get the same functionaility pretty soon.
