Unable to load any Apps onto MyCloudEX2Ultra

I bought this unit a couple of years ago but I’m a newbee and just now starting to use it more seriously. I wanted to install some apps such as Plex, GoodSync, iTunes, USB Backup, etc to get more use from it as I do with my Synology unit. When I check the Apps tab on the device I get one of 2 messages - either “No Apps Available” or “No Internet Access”. The only app I have installed is “Internal Backups” when I first bought the device. Running OS5, I have just upgraded to Firmware 5.27.157 but this did not help. I am logged in as admin and on the same network as my windows PC. Can you please help troubleshoot as I believe that there should be a number of these apps available to install on the NAS.
