Unable to find samba share

I recently updated to firmware 1.02.21

Since updating I’ve been unable to connect to my main samba server through the wdtvlive. My other systems still show up fine and i can still connect to my main server fine. Just hte wd box no longer works with it. I’ve tried changing configuration, cycling power on all devices to no avail.

Any advice?

Try

resetting the WDTV by pressing the side reset button for a second with the unit on.

reset to factory defaults using internal menu

unplug the unit from the power and leave for some minutes (not seconds)

Do all 3 one after the other before using the unit.

It sometimes helps to do this when upgrading the firmware and can’t do any harm.
