Unable to access a private share om myworld

I have set up a share on my myworld (latest .12 firmware) with only Admin and user X with full access

If I attempt to mount on my pc or just access via network I get the logon screen but then get a unable to access!!!

works fine as a public share  but not private.

I must be missing something pretty basic any help or assistance appreciated

After creating the private shares, did you power-cycle the MBW? Sometimes you have to let it cool down so you can access new shares.

thanks for reply, powered off/on still same problem

problem shows both thru windows (vista) file explorer/network and wd discovery browse network shares

also have norton firewall running

book is attached to a cable wireless router via network cable , I access router via wireless
