I have an almost new SSD passport drive that no longer mounts. I have spent a “VERY” long time trying to deal with this through Western Digital. only contact seems to be the USA. three techs yesterday. they suggested I contact the UK customer support to request a new cable as apparently some drives have issues with USB C adapters. No number for the UK, no direct chat for the UK. nothing. Just frustration. Unfortunately I have many drives manufactured by Western Digital in one way or another. Not a good thing when their customer support seems to be none existent. Is there a direct link to UK customer support? If there is, why is it buried so deeply in the system? Can anyone help?
If you still can’t contact UK customer support … then go out and buy a new cable, dunno maybe try Ebay or Amazon ?
