Two n750 APs

I’ve got a pretty large home and have been having issues with spotty/no coverage for my wifi.  I went out and purchased two WD N750’s.  I put one in my garage (we spend a lot of time brewing beer out there on teh weekends.) and one near the back of the house to extend coverage to the deck.

Both are cabled in and configured as access points. Initial setup appears to be ok because I can connect to each of them. However, I have intermittent issues where I get disconnected. My device will still show a full signal, but access will be gone.  While doing some investigating, I found that one AP had an IP address of 192.168.1.2 while the other had an IP of 192.168.1.16 but they both had the SAME MAC ADDRESS.

I did some more research and the general internet concensus is that duplicate MAC addresses on a single LAN is bad because it’ll cause looping.

Is there a way to force a MAC address change on an N750?

I should also state that the MAC addresses showing for the n750’s in on my main router appear to be stating an erroneous value.  They appear as

00:00:00:00:00:47 for both
