So, I would like to know why I cannot restore the contents of my WD Passport drive to my new WDC Black HDD? The contents of the C;G drives have been on a monthly backup schedule since 2020. I installed Smartware on the new WDC Black drive because that is what was used on the old HDD that crashed. Whenever I open up the Smartware program, both the Backup and restore tabs are grayed out. If I select the C: drive from the Passport, it organizes and shows me all the file catagories. How the hell do I get it onto the new internal drive if both tabs are unusable?? This is very frustrating as I have important documents I need not to mention all my programs, picture, etc. Someone please help!
