Trying to reformat Passport - erase button not useable

I have a “My Passport Essential” that was used on a windows PC. I want to now use it on my MacOS “Catalina” version 10.15.3. I’m trying to RE-Format this drive to ExFat, primary for use on a MAC. I have the latest version of WDDiscovery 3.6.163. Using Answer ID8200, I get stuck at step 3-4 where I have to hit erase. Erase nor the other buttons near it are clickable. Also tried to unlock also - which worked prior, but doesn’t now. In a nutshell, all I want to do is erase the drive, reformat it to ExFat to use on a macOS 10.15.3 “Catalina”.
