Transmission on WD MyCloud 2.30.165

Dearl All!
I’ve searched through forum and didn’t find the answer.

I have MyCloud 3Tb with 2.30.165 firmware version and I want to install transmission on it. But every manual here regarding this issue is about devices with 4.XX.XXX version.

Is there any possibility to do this with my current set-up (Mac, WD MyCloud 2.30.165)?

Note: The various third party apps mentioned in that discussion may not be the very latest versions since this is an unsupported hack of the firmware.
