Question running vista, I have a WD 1 terabyte drive however it will only allow 4 gig to transfer at a time otherwise it tells me in error message that the file is to large! I was not sure if I needed to change to NTFS (currently FAT32)?
How is the drive formatted? How are you transfering the file? http://blogs.chron.com/helpline/archives/2008/09/file_size_limit.html

Yes, you need to change to NTFS. FAT 32 has a 4 GB file size limitation. Make sure you back up your data before reformatting, just in case something goes wrong.
