Transferring from mycloud to PC

What’s the best way to transfer a TB of data from the mycloud back to my PC?  I tried connecting directly with USB 3.0, but my PC wouldn’t recognize the mycloud.  I need something fast, so definitely don’t want to do it over wifi.

My Cloud will not attach via USB to a PC. You should be ablet to connect the pc directly to the same router as MC; alternatively you can connect MC directly to the ethernet port on your pc.
