Drive was spinning 12 hrs after transfer with wdphotodbmerger and wdmcserver pegging the cpu.
Strange and worrying thing is that after reboot both these processes went back to 0% usage and drive went to sleep after 10 minutes.
Seems like something is indexing new files (10gb of pdfs) but stops after reboot.
Hello, that’s correct, every time you transfer new files the My Cloud will index all of them.
I understand that but what worries me is that it didnt continue after the reboot. It seemed that it was stuck in some loop until i rebooted the drives.
Drives got so hot you couldnt even touch them.
