I’ve the WD My Book Live, and I’d like to use it for the Time Machine backup.
I’m not the only one to use the NAS so my question is that:
Is there any way to protect with password my time machine backup so I’m the only one that can access and browse them?
I don’t like that all Network user have access to my backup files ( not Encrypted ), is like they can have access to MBP.
Tx For your time.

When you create a backup with Time Machine, there is an option that allows you to put a password to the backup, this way, only you will have access and restore your backup.
