Thunderbolt 3

Hello

I recently purchased a g-raid 2 hard drive and i use it with my lenovo Yoga 730 laptop
This laptop has a USB c port and if i’m not wrong doesn’t have a thunderbolt 3 port
When i connect the computer to the USB port it works but when i try to connect it to the thunderbolt port it doesn’t.
Is it OK? am i missing something? Is there a way to connect a computer with no thunderbolt to the G-raid’s thunderbolt port?

Thanks

SHMZ

Hi @Shmz,

Please check the article G-Technology Windows Compatibility:

If your laptop doesn’t have thunderbolt there is no reason to have thunderbolt connection. Laptop supports USB connection as it appears so please proceed with using your drive with USB as you already do.

I appreciate the information and advice you have shared. I will try to figure it out for more.
