Thinking of upgrading EX4100 to PR4100

I have owned an EX4100 with 16 TB of storage for the last four years. It is been a great device with absolutely no issues (hopefully I didn’t just jinx myself). However, it’s four years old and I know that all drives fail at some point. Even though I have a spare internal drive if one fails, I’m thinking of upgrading to the PR 4100. Here’s my question. If I get both devices attached to my network what type of software would be needed to use the older EX4100 as the backup destination for the newer PR 4100.

I have a very similar setup, using my old NAS as a further backup. I use FreeFileSync. Free to download and use.

I have created batch files for auto sync each day keeping both NAS’ aligned.

Good luck
