Just scanned my External Hard drive with Western Digital Data LifeGuard Diagnstics. Still now i havent faced any problem with my hard drive, Since i haven’t scanned for any bad sectors AGES , therefore i thought to scan for any bad sectors and repair it, if it is there.

so what should i do now? Shall i ignore it or is there any other way to fix/repair the bad sectors.
Thanks for replying to my post, but i have already scanned my western digital passport HDD with western digital data lifeguard diagnostics tool and it detected bad sectors and when it attempt to fix bad sectors then error displays that Test Error Code: 08-Error was detected while repairing bad sectors. y fdf
