Switch to JBOD or Downgrade RAID1 to JBOD?

Hi guys,

I was wondering if any of you tried out this options. I want to change from RAID 1 to JBOD to use the full capacity of my disks and i’m wondering what’s the diferrence between Switch to JBOD or Downgrade RAID 1 to JOBD.

My guess would be that 1st option does a format and the second one keeps the data, but i haven’t tried it.

Hi there, downgrading to JBOD wont delete the data while Switch will reformat the volume.

Any idea on how to move the other way. In other words, I have a JBOD disk and I want to add another and have it Raid to the old one… obviously without losing data
