I replaced two 4TB WD40E31X drives with two of these (WD8001FZBX). I cannot believe how “LOUD” these drives are when they operate. My 4TB drives you could barely even tell they were being written to or read from …these Premium Gaming drives sound like a tin hammering workshop on a hot summer day with the garage wall rolled up… I use an open air case design …and these drives can be heard from the next room over even when just performing idle/small read writes. Anyone else experience extremely loud drive noise from these “Premium” gaming drives???
