I have successfully migrated my media library to the public share on my MBL Duo. Now itunes 11 on my MacBook (OS 10.6.8) is able to stream audio and video content from the drive. I had essentially copied the media folder to the WD drive and then painfully repopulated the itunes library pointing to the new drive location. However, I cannot seem to get an ipad running ios 6 to recognize the shared library. I have enabled Home Sharing on both the MacBook and the ipad, same account etc. Any ideas?
Did you updated the Ipad library as well?
Have not tried to update the ipad library. I figured it would show up as a shared library automatically. I’ll look into that. Thanks.
