I recently purchased a hub allowing me to connect my Studio II to my iMac using eSATA cables. EVERY (3 different manufacturers) eSATA cable I use with the Studio II is loose and the connection is easily broken with the slightest nudge: this causes a loss of any data if it happens during a write op. The cable does not feel like it locks or even firmly engages when inserted.
If this is an unfixable issue, does WD use a non-standard spec eSATA interface or sell a locking cable that works well with their drive?
