Stuck on "Insert Hard Drive"

I have an 8 TB WD RED that when plugged in shows a solid red LED. I have checked with Data LifeGuard Diagnostics and the drive passes the quick test. I also did a quick erase to try and reset the drive to be used. When I insert the drive it does not seem to be recognized by the My Cloud EX2 Ultra device. It keeps prompting to Insert Hard Drive.

How can I get this drive to be recognized? Thanks for your help!

SOLVED: This issue relates to the power adapter used. I purchased a seemingly appropriate power adapter but when replaced with a lower power My Book power adapter, my device was able to boot up. See: My cloud mirror hdd issues same issue.
