Stuck in "Loading....." after FW Update

Hi there,

I´ve updated my WDTV Play to the latest FW. It recognized the new FW, started dl it and said, DL complete, rebooting.

Now it is stuck in the first screen saying “Loading…” for hours. Any chance to get this one working again?

Have you tried pressing the “Reset” hole (quickly, 1-2 Seconds) with a paperclip ?

I know this might sound stupid, but was the unit connected to the A/C adapter when you pressed the reset button?
You might try pressing it several times for 1-2 seconds. Mine doesn’t always reset the first time I press it. It’s like it has a bad reset button.

I wonder if downloading the update from WD and placing it on a USB thumb drive, per the normal update instructions, and then hitting the reset button would force it to take the update again?
