Streaming media over internet to Android?

I just got a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 running Android 4.1.1, and WD2Go is working fine with my MBLD 6TB. I can stream individual music and video files. Is there a music player that I can use to access my files (mostly FLAC and WMA) in a standard music player interface? I don’t want to have to go through the file system and select individual files…

Check online it should be a player that you can use.

The best you could do (and what I do) is enable FTP (or SFTP / FTPS if needed - look at the forum) and then streaming with a great file browser, like the free ES Explorer.

You can even queue the files, add whole folders to play, and it has a dedicated player that seems to work great with the MBLD:
