Strange Noise: PR4100 with 4x8TB WD Red

Recently bought an 8tb emaz that makes exactly this noise. Sometimes can be silent for hours at a time. Others, it’ll make this buzzing on and off repeatedly. Doesn’t matter if idling, reading, or writing.

For reference, also have an 8tb efzx (going on 3 years now) that’s never made this noise.

Both are shucks.

I too have the exact same hum vibration since day one. Drives everyone crazy in the room. Now I found out that some have discovered that by tapping the side of the case a few times it stops for about 20-30 minutes. Not thrilled that people are physically doing things to the cases to maintain sanity. Sure with the issue would get addressed.
