SRT Files are not played

Hi,

I use the WD TV live to read moovies from a NAS into my TV. I can access it by network shares or by Twonky server.

My issue : I play the moovie et the subtitle are not shown. They have the same name than the movie ( toto.avi / toto.srt), in thee same folder. They don’t appear in the option tool and the option ‘activate subtitle’ doesn’t do a thing.

It works perfectly fine when i try read it with windows media player from a laptop.

It should work when using Network Shares…   

You’re saying it doesn’t work either way?

Hi,

You are right, it does work using network shares ! I was using the media server, and I guess it doesn’t support external subtitle.
