I got my WDTV Live Hub today and I was able to play a video or two (not sure of the format or anything). I then tried to get the device to “see” the videos on my NAS.
Although the device “sees” the NAS and its contents, nothing will play. When I try any of the internal or NAS-hosted videos, I just get the spinning icon.
Is this because the device is “scanning” the NAS for videos to put in the library? I will not even play the “sample videos” that were included on the device.
What version of Samba is your NAS running?
SAMBA version? Dunno.
Its whatever the DNS-321 is running. Its on Firmware 1.03. What should I look for? Should NFS be active?
