How can I delete a sparsebundle from a TimeMachineBackup share on a MyCloudEX2Ultra? There are four there for four different boxes and I want to delete one.
I’m having the same problem (sudo rm -R does not seem to work).
FWIW, the share that I was trying to delete (because it wasn’t working) has started working again, so I no longer need to delete it.
I have no solution to the problem of deleting one, though.
I have tried on a backup disk this suggestion but not on my NAS.
Right-click on the sparsebundle file and choose Show Package Contents. Open the bands folder. Select a large number of bands and move those to the trash. Repeat until all bands have been deleted, then delete the main sparsebundle file.
