Playing a MPG2-File with AC3 greater 256 kBit/s and/or more than 2 Channels no sound is hearing with Firmware 1.06.43. With Firmware 1.06.15 no Problems with this Files.
This MPG2-Files embedded in ISO plays in both Firmwareversions.
You can try reporting this issue to WD
