My Passport SE Terra 3.0, Running windows 7
Started giving me issues where I would plug the drive in and my computer would recognize it being plugged in but wouldn’t see it in my computer…
Now it is still finicky in that way but sometimes I can see a folder or sub floder on the hard drive but when I open it it says there is nothing in the folder…
When it does see all the files and I try to copy it to another location is says that some of the files cannot be located…
Some of my files have been successfully copied…
In device manager it populates fine and tells me that it is working properly…
I have done disk checks to recover bad sectors and that has come out fine…
When I try a defrag though it just stops…
I tried a firmware upgrade and that keeps on failing telling me to close other applications…
Same on other computers all windows 7
I have tried using mutiple data recovery programs and they do not see any data to be recovered…
I know the files are still there and havnt been lost…yet…
Just dont know how to fix this?
