[SOLVED] to be removed ----- New Router --> no way to connect my 2 MyCloud GEN1&2


After having changed WIFI provider and router (from PlusNet to NOWTV) I can’t connect to my 2 MyCloud devices (8TB Gen2 and 2TB Gen1).

They did work fine connected directly to a PlusNet router, but they don’t work with the NOWTV one, either connected directly or using a LAN switch.

Can anybody help to solve this?

Hey @izi0,

Since you have upgraded the router, you need to refresh IP configuration of your My Cloud Devices, so that your new router can assign an IP address to your devices. The setting can be refreshed by a simple 4 Second reset.
