Today both my USB MyBook drives went offline concurrently. After extensive troubleshooting I discovered a USBpcap utility was preventing me from connecting to my drives. I uninstalled USBpcap from programs and everything went back to normal. This may be a component of WireShark. Just so you know how to solve it.
