Hi all
I have contacted WD and read through most of the info on here, however, I have solid white light, it only flickers once when power is switched on. Reset didn’t work. Advice from WD is replacement and hire a data recovery expert.
The reason for this post is to request a simple version of “how to fix/recover data”.
My knowledge of computer systems is low in comparison to many of you.
I see linux could be a solution, however I am running Windows 7!
What do you recommend for a novice prepared to work through some simple steps?
