Software tools to monitor WD6401AALS 640GB internal drive

What’s good WD software to monitor this drive?  It’s a Western Digital Caviar Black WD6401AALS 640GB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive.

Can I use tools that other companies make like Active Smart or Active Hard Disk Monitor, too?

What are you trying to monitor?   The SMART function on the drive?  Or the drive performance?  If it’s the SMART function, then our DLG Diagnostics should be fine.  If it’s the drive’s performance, then there are plenty of third party utilities that do that.  Just keep in mind that not all of them are very accurate.
