I have Windows 7 and I just got a My Passport SE, and I am trtying to install SmartWare. I get to the bit where it says estimated time remaining and it starts to install, but then the window just closes at about half way every time, not completing the install as far as I can see. I have tried restarting and all drivers are installed (I cna view the drive)
I got the same problem. I have just purchased a 1 TB WD My Book external drive and when I try to install it on my laptop got the same issue.
