Smartware Partition Preventing ExFat and Dynamic Disk formating

Hi,

I have an Elements drive that I want to format as Exfat for use in a mixed envrionment. This new drive however has a 200 MB partition on the front of it that seems to be inhibiting all normal uses of the drive such as ExFat or conversion to a dynamic disk in windows.

How do I remove it so that the drive may become a normal useful drive?

Should I return the drive and get a Seagate instead?

Thanks,

Idiom

Okay, I found a way to get rid of it.

I had to run it twice, but in the end it allowed me to use the drive properly.
