Hello. I’ve been using Smartware to back up 3 pc’s. I’ve just got a new laptop and want to retrieve the files from the old pc’s. when I do they say I don’t have permission to open the files. I just found that there’s WD backup but its not recognising my back up files from Smartware and I cant back anything up because it say I’ve not got enough space. how can I retrieve all my files
Have you tried retrieving using SmartWare? If you use the search icon, top right of this page, you should find prior topics on this. Below is one of my topics on this.
I did retrieve with smartware but once you try and open a file, it just says you don’t have permission.
