I bought 2 WD external hd over the last couple years but neither came with WD Smartware. (Only WD Qucikview.) How can i download the Smartware software? The links here all point to downloading “updates” that seem to assume we have the original software. I have Win 7.
Just download the updater (from here) and run it. If you don’t have Smartware installed, it will install from scratch.
