SMART error on WD Red 3TB in FreeNAS

I have a FreeNAS that has four WD Red 3TB drives to make up one RAIDZ1 volume. I purchased these drives from Newegg in March of 2014. I have just started to get a SMART error registering. I don’t know what to make of the error, other than it is an error. I’m not sure what to do next. If it helps, here is the output of a “smartctl -x”:

smartctl 6.3 2014-07-26 r3976 [FreeBSD 9.3-RELEASE-p31 amd64] (local build)

Hello there,

I recommend checking this drives with DLG to see if it shows any error while diagnosing the drive, here is a link to the software download:

DOS version:
http://download.wdc.com/dlg/dlgdiag_5_25.zip

Windows version:
http://download.wdc.com/windlg/WinDlg_v1_29.zip

Hope this helps.

Regarding DLG, do I take the drive out of the array and connect it to another machine to run? I know that in the past, I tried using SpinRite to repair a drive that had been a part of an array and it didn’t recognize the format. Is DLG different? Does it work on drives that are a part of an array? What information will it give?
