I’m noticing that my transfer speeds have slowed down a lot over the past couple of months, and now sometimes they even just stop for a couple of minutes. Is there anyway to fix this or is the drive dying?

No way to tell because My Cloud Home doesn’t provide anytime of self diagnostic tools.
Can’t say that I’ve ever had any problems with My Cloud Home Duo and it’s been a year or so, but I have done System Erase and started over a few times. IE: just cleaning things up all at once instead of selecting stuff I didn’t want.
