My drive’s read and write speed is so slow and says it’s going to take 446 days to transfer 11 gigabytes of data to my computer
any ideas on how to fix it?

Poor or slow performance is usually caused by system configuration issues. It is very rare that the performance issue is directly related to the hard drive.
