Does this happen on a wired connection? Is this behavior the same across other systems in your network? What are the specifications of your router?

No it won’t happened to wired connection, I am using Aztech DSL8800GR model for my router.
Previously I am using WD My Book Live with the same connection with any such issue, only when I upgrade it to WDCloudMirror then we encountered the problem.
Another issue is I cannot upgrade the firmware by just press the update from the application itself.
If so, then perhaps it would be best to contact WD Support about this. You can do so over the phone or via E-mail.
