Is there any way for the WD TV box to play the files downloaded by/for Sky Desktop? I have a weekend cottage with very weak internet bandwidth so I download files to a laptop and then play them on my TV via the WD box. This works fine with, for instance, BBC Iplayer where Windows Medai Player and the WD box both play these files no problem. Media Player finds the downloaded Sky files and tries to play them but fails.I haven’t yet tried the WD box with them but I suspect it won’t work. Am I right or is there a work around?
Obviously, I can connect the laptop to the TV but this is a PITA in comparison to streaming the files to the WD box.
