Shuttle XL 64TB Tunderbolt 3 Wont power on

So a few hours ago I opened the box on my new Shuttle XL 64TB… Downloaded the software… Plugged the tunderbolt 3 in… added power… pushed the power button… and and … nothing.

Am I missing something? I see a green light deep inside the unit but I get nothing on the front when I push the power button.

Any help would be awesome on this 6k boat anchor right now.

What computer do you have? Is it plugged directly into a TB3 port on your system? Make sure you are not plugging it into a USB 3.1 Type C port as they are not the same interfaces.

Also in order to work you will need our driver for TB3.

Windows TB3 driver

So here is what I have learned… The power button on the unit does absolutely nothing.

I was using a cable but not a Tunderbolt 3 certified cable. Once I switched to the provided cable the unit powered on.
